My home is situated in a small village called Urchfont ‘ an 11 min drive from Devizes where you can find all local amenities such as supermarket etc. The house is on a quiet lane has a working farm as you come up the road, locally we have a beautiful village pond , a pub , community ran shop , primary School ,park & a village hall. A short walk from my home is a fenced off area to walk/train dogs at a small cost I believe. 10 min walk from local farm shop which has a hair dresser, Pilates & massage studio & a couple of other smaller shops. Bus stop 2 min walk. The village is surrounded by an idyllic setting (Peppercombe Wood Wilts wildlife trust) & so forth which is beautiful in the spring and summer months ‘ in fact it’s pretty beautiful all year round Short drive from other local schools. Heating is Electric heaters ( which tends to be the case in most country villages unless you have oil installed ) but they are new & economically up to date so keep the place warm. I tend to have them switched off from around March/April through to the Autumn/winter months as they aren’t needed. I have a large back garden which I spent last summer taking out all the dead hedges and digging out an area at the bottom to which I have planted in. Rather easy to maintain though as the rest is grassed. Patio directly outside the back door for seating etc Neighbours either side are lovely & it’s very peaceful here. Toilet upstairs and down , with a bath upstairs also. 2 relatively big bedrooms, my sons is a tad smaller than mine. Understair storage cupboard & most definitely enough room in the garden for more such as shed etc if wanted Local WI group & much more Beautiful little church in the village Space for 2 cars on drive way The only reason for my move is that I want to move closer to my partner in Amesbury
