I have a fourth floor two-bedroom flat in whiteinch. Completely redecorated in February. re plastered the kitchen and had wet walls to the bathroom. Large size living room with large Windows overlooking part of the river kelvingrove the university and as far as the city. Kitchen is a good size with plenty of storage cupboards also a built-in cupboard that houses water tanks. There is room for a fridge freezer washing machine and an electric cooker. The view is fab of the hills The hallway goes from the front door to the lounge and has 3 built-in cupboards and one huge shed cupboard storage. Both bedrooms are also off the hallway and are a very good size for double beds wardrobes and drawers both bedroom windows overlook the same as the living room. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over a sink and toilet and I have recently wet wild in marble effect and also has click vinyl flooring. All the rooms are decorated and carpeted in grey. The kitchen and part of the hallway has modern grey vinyl flooring. All windows open to the inside on tilt or turn so cleaning outside can be done from inside. The building is 20 floors high with two lifts and a staircase. There is a concierge at reception area and there is also caretakers offices on the ground floor. entry itself is by a key fob into a reception area. There is one exit door to the back of the building. I thought each level has its own section for a bin rubbish drop which goes down to a secure caretaker's area. The building and the area are cleaned daily as are the garden/play areas. There is also an arena for basketball/football games and is open for everybody's use The local people are very friendly and also helpful if needed.. The area is also very quiet. Outside there are are grass areas, want which is mostly used for dogs play. And plenty of other grass areas and a children's playground with no roads around. There are three car parks to the building and plenty of street parking.. within walking distance are bus stops in to the city centre and to an intu shopping centre. Victoria Park is just a couple of minutes walk away. There are plenty convenience stores.. hairdressers comber barbers, salons, doctors surgeries, chemists, takeaways, cash machines, library. 10-minute walk away is a huge sports pavilion and gym and swimming pool. What are the links to the motorway and to the city centre are fantastic as the tunnel under the river Clyde is just 500 yards away... There are also plenty of supermarkets a few minutes on the bus. There are local children's nurseries and schools also within walking distance and just a few minutes. There is a housing office and community Centre with the small cafe. There is also another small community centre that houses social groups and there is a church just a few minutes walk away. Whiteinch has extremely good transport links and Glasgow Central is just 20 minutes away on the bus.. There is a cycle path next to the building and and the River Clyde is just a few minutes walk away.
