I have just renovated a 2 bed flat in Caerphilly, white throughout walls and ceiling and all gloss work is re-painted, its yet to have the stairs-hallway and landing painted but it has a brand new carpet fitted in this area. All this work was carried out in November 2011 by myself I am a builder so it new and fresh, I got from the council but the decor was dated an old couple had it before, it is council owned. New carpets throughout and cushion flooring in WC and kitchen, the council is due to carry out the fitting of a new Kitchen this year or the early part of next year, so who ever take it will have the choice of picking the new kitchen, the kitchen here is lovely, white just dated, it and no wall unites which is the only down fall but it has the room to fit wall units which will be pick up on the fit out. The bathroom it new, fitted in November and it has a shower in the bath which it perfect. Both bedroom are large but, the front bedroom is massive as is the lounge, the place is very roomie, I live here with my Great Dane, I have a field in front of my yard and a kids park, doctor is the other side of the field, mountain at the back with loads of walks and lovely pub all around, shops 2mins walk and it 5 mins from Cardiff by car, the back of my yard is on the main bus route go straight to Cardiff every 15mins till 6pm and its 10mins from train station. This is a sort after estate and I had to fight the council for 18 month to get this place. Its very hard to get a place on the estate. so who ever gets it will be the envy of any one on the council list. The view from ever window is mountains in the distances. its semi rural. |
