Our house is in an estate on the edge of town, overlooking the picturesque Blackdown hills. we had new kitchen about 18 months ago with points for electric or gas cooker, bathroom was recently replaced with new suite and shower, toilet is seperate and new as well, large lounge/diner, I double bedroom and 2 good sized singles, large hall. The property has double glazing and electric heating, and Gas as it is the only house with gas in the road and it has a nice gas heater in the lounge which warms the house very quickly and is cheap to run, the lounge has laminate flooring and marley type tiling in the kitchen and hall which makes for easy cleaning downstairs. It has gardens to the front and rear of the property, the reasonable sized front is laid to lawn with a border and off road parking the rear has slabs and is quite large enough for a table and chairs and trampoline, there is a 6 x 8 wooden shed for storage. We are about 50 yards from the nearest Primary school,a good secondary school is also in town and is within easy walking distance, the town centre and shops are a further 5 min walk where there is Asda, Waitrose, Coop, Boots, Superdrug, butchers take aways and all the usual facilities, a 24 hour service station is a short distance away, there are 2 doctors surgeries in town and a hospital 6 miles away. There is a large sports centre available too for the fitness conscious,with good course fishing lakes along side the centre which is part of a small nature reserve This location has a lot to offer, 2 mins from the countryside but also 2 mins from the facilities of a small town and a 20 min drive from either coast. We have a Genuine reason for moving from this charming small town.
